Okay, these noodles may not have the speediness of 2 minute noodles, but they certainly have all the taste, flavour and nutrition of a home cooked meal with minimum time in the kitchen, and we are so here for that! These Chilli Beef Noodles are the perfect weeknight meal or the perfect meal to whip up when you have last minute guests or friends over for dinner.

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 500g - 700g beef mince (depending on potion size)
  • 2 bunch broccolini, chopped
  • 3 stems spring onion, green parts finely sliced (discard white)
  • 2 packs ramen noodles 300g
  • 1 tbsp Beef Bone Broth Concentrate Natural or 1 tbsp Beef Bone Broth Powder Hearty Original
  • 1/2 cup tamari / soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  1. In a medium saucepan, add a little olive oil and brown mince with a sprinkle of sea salt. If the meat is dry, add more olive oil.
  2. As the meat is browning, add the garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes to soften.
  3. Meanwhile, boil the kettle and add your noodles and boiling water in a saucepan for 3-5 minutes to cook until al dente. Drain.
  4. To the browned beef, add all the rest of the ingredients and cook for 3-5 minutes (the smell is incredible - your family will gravitate into the kitchen, aka flavour town)
  5. Add cooked noodles and stir through to combine and serve hot.
