Apple Pie Cocktail

Celebrate all the warm, classic and spiced flavours of an apple pie, but make it a cocktail. With spiced rum, Collagen Beauty Vanilla, and punchy apple cider, every pour is layered with warmth and beauty benefits, while a crunchy almond and spice rim adds that extra indulgent touch.

Almond Crumble (rim)

  • 1/4 cup almonds, crushed 
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½  tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (for the rim of the glass)

Cocktail

  • 1 shot (1.5fl oz) spiced rum
  • 2 tbsp Collagen Beauty Vanilla
  • 8.5fl oz apple cider
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp maple syrup 
  • Ice

Garnish

  • Sliced apple pieces
  • Cinnamon stick
  1. Prepare the crumble mixture. In a medium saucepan add almonds, coconut sugar,  1 tsp of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp nutmeg in a fry pan over a medium heat until slightly golden and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside to cool for 10 mins. 
  2. Once your crumble has cooled, add  some maple syrup to a bowl and dip the rim of your cocktail glasses. Sprinkle the crumble mixture around the rim, or add the crumble mixture to a saucer and dip the glass into the mix so it sticks to the syrup.
  3. In a cocktail shaker or a large cup, mix the spiced rum, maple syrup, Collagen Beauty Vanilla and ¼ tsp cinnamon, until well combined. Add in the apple cider - it will fizz a lot so be careful that it doesn't overflow from the foam. Mix gently to combine. 
  4. Add the delicious concoction into your crumble glasses, and top with a slice of apple and a cinnamon stick.
  5. NOTE: Turn this into a mocktail by omitting the rum, and using non-alcoholic apple cider
