We always recommend ordering as early as possible to avoid any unexpected carrier delays during the busy Christmas period.

We have used various premium refractance dried fruits, which provide taste, colour and naturally occurring nutrients into each of our Collagen Beauty flavours. We have also used Australian made plant based natural flavours to achieve a delicious taste.

We do not recommend taking more than one collagen product at a time. More is not always better. If you would like to target multiple body systems, we recommend taking turns with which collagen product you use. The scientific studies that demonstrated the effectiveness of each of the collagens was done by using just one of the specialised bioactive collagen peptides, every day for the trial period (usually between 8-12 weeks). So we recommend doing the same thing (for example, you may want to take Collagen Beauty for 12 weeks to help strengthen and hydrate skin over winter, then focus on Collagen Joints + Bones for 12 weeks to support joint & bone strength. Taking more Collagen won’t cause harm (as it is a food product that is generally considered safe) but there is only so much protein synthesis and metabolism that you can do in a day. Also, consuming too much of anything isn’t a good idea, as it takes the place of other foods in the diet which may reduce the variety of foods that you have in your day. A healthy varied diet is always the best!

Yes, our collagen is sourced from grass fed cows. We buy our collagen from a reliable and reputable supplier based in Germany, named Gelita. This company is one of the market leaders in the collagen industry and has one of the highest industry standards and scientific studies to warrant safety and efficacy. Due to the weather conditions in Germany, the grass fed cattle are fed supplemental feed occasionally due to severe weather conditions, to ensure their survival. This is why we say grass fed and not grass finished - because on rare occasions, the cattle may be offered supplemental fed.

Currently there is no scientific evidence to suggest collagen peptides negatively impact cholesterol levels. Some studies actually show the opposite - collagen peptide supplementation can reduce free cholesterol and improve the ratio of good (HDL) to bad (LDL) cholesterol but while promising, these studies are too few to draw conclusive results.

The Collagen peptides in our Beef Bone Broth are derived from Types I and III collagen.

In terms of bone broth benefits, our bone broth concentrates and powders are much the same with benefits for the immune system, gut wellbeing and energy. However, in terms of flavour profile, format and uses, there are a few key differences.

Our Bone Broth Concentrates have a rich flavour profile, meaning it’s great for soups, stews, gravies and cooking with a smaller amount needed. Our powder bone broths have a more delicate flavour profile. Our Beef Bone Broth Concentrates are also shelf stable and need to be used within 12 weeks from opening, whereas our Chicken Bone Broth Concentrates need to be consumed within 6 weeks after opening with refrigeration required. Our powders are better for travelling as they come in tins, are shelf stable and can be used up to 12 months from opening.

You can consume up to 2 serves of Thriving Family per day (60 g). However, please make sure you are getting your protein intake from a variety of sources and remember that Thriving Family is not a sole source of nutrition.
