The vitamins and minerals are all natural. We are using an amazing organic concentrated superfood blend made from broccoli, spinach, kale, pumpkin, sweet potato, sunflower seeds, kelp, chlorella, maitake mushroom and shiitake mushroom which provides a huge range of vitamins and minerals - naturally.
What does it taste like?
It's a yummy, gently sweet and savoury taste of fresh vegetables. No flavours or sweeteners have been added.

Where does Beef Bone Broth come from?
All beef bones utilised for our beef bone broths are derived solely from Australian grass-fed cattle. Our broth also contains a small amount of beef broth concentrate that is made from New Zealand grass-fed cattle and Australian grass-fed cattle.
Are the cattle grass-fed?
If there's one thing we are passionate about here at Nutra Organics, aside from food of course, it's animals and their welfare. Although our cattle are grass-fed, in the interest of full disclosure there are times when environmental factors, such as severe drought here in Australia that our cattle's diets are supplemented with wholesome non-gmo grain fodder (hay or straw) to ensure their survival. However, please be assured that if grass is available to be eaten, they are exclusively eating it.
Why is Apple Cider Vinegar added?
Apple Cider Vinegar is acidic, which makes it great for naturally enhancing the extraction of collagen and other nutritious elements from the bone to ensure that our bone broth contains all the possible benefits.
What type of collagen is in Beef Bone Broth?
The Collagen peptides in our Beef Bone Broth are derived from Types I and III collagen.
How are deactivated nutritional savoury flakes made?
They are made from a single-celled organism called Saccharomyces cerevisiae grown on molasses. They are harvested, washed and dried with heat to 'deactivate' them and then rolled to form flakes.
Are deactivated nutritional savoury flakes fortified with vitamins?
Nutritional Yeast Flakes are fortified with vitamins in the initial stages of growth. As the yeast grows they organically bind to these vitamins and proliferate them. The yeast itself also digests these vitamins to a degree and proliferates its own nutrient content creating a naturally vitamin rich food that can easily be incorporated into all savoury meals.
What does "deactivated" nutritional savoury flakes mean?
Deactivated is a term used to describe the quick heating process that stops nutritional yeast from being able to proliferate any further. Just like good and bad bacteria, there are good and bad yeasts that exist within our digestive tract. Unlike unhealthy yeasts such as Candida spp., nutritional yeast is made from a healthful yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae which helps to stop unhealthy yeasts from colonising in the digestive tract by a process of displacement. Therefore even though nutritional yeast is deactivated and unable to proliferate in the body, it is still having the favourable effects of a beneficial yeast in the digestive tract.
Is it gluten free?
Yes! The recipes do not contain any gluten containing ingredients and further we make sure that they are manufactured and packed free from gluten contamination. Lastly we validify this with product testing.
Is it pregnancy and breastfeeding friendly?
Yes! In saying this, we do advise to seek the advice of your primary health care professional if taking any of our products for the first time if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We only say so as we believe that every pregnancy is different, taking a toll differently on each individual body in vitamin, mineral and energy levels. Why do our broths sparkle?
Our broths are so special that they even sparkle! This is because we have used a gentle refractance drying technique to preserve the nutrients and colour. No, we have not added any glitter. Due to the gentle evaporation process that occurs as part of the refractance drying method, the raw material starts to change shape to form small crystalline structures that naturally reflect light making it sparkle.
Are there heavy metals in the Beef Bone Broth?
Bone is known to act as a reservoir for essential metals and other minerals in the body, which is one of the reasons that bone broth is so nutritious. Having said that, because of this, there is also sometimes the concern that undesirable substances like heavy metals may be present too. Rest assured, that all of our raw ingredients are tested and must comply with strict food standards pertaining to heavy metal detection prior to being used in our products.

Are the flavours natural?

Does this product contain caffeine?
Not anymore! Our previous formula contained matcha green tea and green coffee extract, which contained caffeine. However we have removed these 2 ingredients from our new blend, making it caffeine free.
What is Blue Majik?
Our Blue Majik is a trademarked blue spirulina also grown in the USA. The reason our blue spirulina is so special is due to its careful processing that preserves all of the vital nutrients and phytochemical compounds. Many blue spirulina products can be poor quality, cut with maltodextrin and processed with chemicals for extraction. We’re proud to utilise this pure ingredient that only undergoes a water extraction method (similar to swiss water processing of coffee beans) and is naturally rich in chlorophyll, phycocyanin, B12 and Beta Carotene.
What's so good about antioxidants?
Antioxidants provide a multitude of health benefits by providing protection to cells from free radical damage. This is important to help enable cells to function at their optimum and reduce the likelihood of dysfunction across a multitude of systems. Our Super Greens + Reds has been tested for its antioxidant potency using an ORAC test (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) and has demonstrated a very high antioxidant capacity, even when compared to other high antioxidant foods.

What makes Thriving Family suitable for use in children and pregnant & breastfeeding women?
Thriving Family contains no artificial ingredients, amino acids or synthetic vitamins & minerals. This means that not only are the nutrients easily recognised and absorbed by the body, but because they are naturally occurring nutrients, they are the safest and most suitable way to provide a growing body with nourishment without adverse reactions.
Is Thriving Family suitable as a post-workout supplement?
Although Thriving Family can be taken post exercise, it is not our most suitable product for recovery. Our Clean Proteins provide a higher amount of protein per serve, are lower in carbohydrates and contain more complementary nutrients for exercise recovery. We have also recently released our Clean Recovery, which is specifically formulated to help the body to recover after physical exercise.
Is Thriving Family suitable as a replacement for baby formula?
No. Thriving Family is not suitable for consumption for children under the age of 12 months old and is not suitable for use in place of any formula product. Further, Thriving protein is also not a suitable replacement for follow-on formula and should only be utilised as part of a healthy varied diet. For further advice on when might be the right time to incorporate Thriving Protein into the diet of your individual child, it would be the best to talk to your primary health care physician.
30 g of Thriving Family seems like a big serve size, can I give my child less while still maintaining some of the benefits?
Absolutely! For children under 3, a half serve might be more appropriate depending on your child's individual eating habits and needs. You will notice the nutrition panel for Thriving Family is very comprehensive and provides a large portion of the RDI for many vitamins & minerals. Therefore a half serve will still provide a substantial portion of the RDI for these vital nutrients to help fulfil nutritional gaps.
Can I use Thriving Family in baking or will all the nutrition get destroyed by heat?
You can definitely include Thriving Family into any baking. Some water soluble vitamins such as B vitamins and vitamin C are susceptible to heat, however all of the vital minerals and macro nutrients such as protein will be preserved, adding a good whack of nutrition to whatever baked good you decide on.

How many times a day can I take your Thriving Family?
You can consume up to 2 serves of Thriving Family per day (60 g). However, please make sure you are getting your protein intake from a variety of sources and remember that Thriving Family is not a sole source of nutrition.
