At Nutra Organics, we develop products for a multitude of family members, from young kids to adults, and for that reason, we understand the importance of allergen labelling. Certain food products and ingredients can cause allergic reactions. In February 2021, FSANZ introduced new allergen labelling requirements making it easier for consumers to find allergens in food labels. When an allergen is present in our ingredients, we make it in bold and highlight that it is present in our product. However you will also notice that across all of our Nutra Organics products, we have the following statement: “Manufactured in a facility that also processes products containing milk, egg, soy, sesame, lupin, fish, crustacean, mollusc and tree nuts.” We add this voluntary statement to our labels to indicate the possible unintended presence of allergens occurring during food manufacturing exposure. Therefore we cannot guarantee that our product is free from any of the allergens stated above. Please keep this in mind when deciding whether or not to purchase our products.

In Australia & NZ you can purchase our products through our online store and in health food stores across the country.

Looking for a store that you can visit? Use our store locator to find a retailer closest to you.

Most of our products are soy free, with the exception of six of our broths: all of our four vegetable broth varieties as well the two beef and chicken miso ramen flavours contain soy.

This is due to the Certified Organic Red Miso used in the recipe as it contains soya beans, rice and the probiotic fungus Aspergillus oryzae.

Unfortunately we do not hold halal certification for any of our products. We also aren't Certified Kosher.

As of 1 July 2022, some of our prices will be changing, these price changes better reflect the true cost of shipping manufacturing, sourcing the highest quality ingredients and other industry inflation costs.

However, this is not always sustainable for our business. Given the current state of our economy and because we are committed to providing quality with our ingredients and packaging (sourcing Australian first and always printing and manufacturing in Australia), we have had to implement some price changes that better reflect the true cost to create the product and that will also ensure our business can continue to deliver the range you’ve come to know and love long into the future.

Despite these changes, we would like to assure you that our products still remain the highest quality and most reasonably priced in our respective categories.

When our products are being mixed and first filled into the tubs, the powder becomes aerated and extremely fluffy and the tub is filled to the top. After a few days, the powder then settles to the point in which you have received it. If we were to put it into smaller tubs they would be overflowing and we would not be able to fill it with the weight of the product specified on the packaging. Please be assured that your full dose of the product is in there as we sell by weight and not volume.

We are passionate about nourishing every member of the family, so most of our products are pregnancy and breastfeeding friendly, and suitable for kids 12 months and up! Click here to view our pregnancy & breastfeeding friendly products.

We use Barley and Wheat Grass in our Clean Greens. Clean Greens doesn’t contain any gluten containing ingredients, however cross contamination can naturally occur throughout the processing of wheat grass and barley grass. Therefore, we prefer to act on the side of caution and recommend that gluten allergic or coeliac consumers avoid this product.

Wherever possible we strive to use Australian grown products. Unfortunately with fruit and vegetable products this is not always possible due to variations in the seasons ie. Mangoes only grow in Queensland during the summer months. There is also the fact that some fruits and vegetables simply aren’t grown in Australia such as our Brazilian supplied Acai. These factors aside we do however go to every effort to ensure that our suppliers are not only ethical but must adhere to our strict certified organic regulations.

All raw ingredients made in Australia or imported must adhere to strict guidelines for the content of heavy metals set by each states food authority. This means that all raw ingredients are tested and that no ingredients that do not meet the strict parameters are used in production. This is an Australia wide requirement and food law that Nutra Organics will always abide by to ensure our products are not only the highest quality nutritionally but also the safest.

Nutra Organics is a health food company that creates products solely for the purpose of nourishing our bodies with organic, high quality health foods. Therefore we do not promote any of our products to have any therapeutic effect or benefit. For further information regarding this or any concerns you may have regarding our products and a specific health condition we recommend consulting your primary physician.

We have moved all our single serve sachets and bars to a home compostable wrapper that are certified 100% Australian Home Compostable.

The wrappers are completely plant-based, predominantly from sustainably harvested eucalyptus trees. For every tree harvested to create the wrapper, another tree is planted. These wrappers will break down within 26 weeks once disposed of in a compostable environment, leaving no traces of eco toxins in the soil.

We are proud to be leading the way in sustainable packaging within our industry. Our products are available in canisters that are fully recyclable, are less carbon intensive than steel cans & glass, and the paper used is made from 100% recyclable fiber. When diverted to the recycling stream, the canisters have a recovery rate of 88%.

All our boxes are FSC Certified and made from recycled cardboard.

Our packaging materials, Hexcelwrap and PAPERplus, which protect your orders, are environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable.

We are working hard to source materials for all of our packaging substrates to be compostable or recyclable. You can learn more about our sustainability commitment here.

Nutra Organics blended products are all manufactured in Australian facilities. We also employ equal opportunity employees through The Endeavour Foundation and Synergy Group to package our Wholefood Pantry range. We do this to ensure we are doing our part to give back to our community and that all Australians, including those with a permanent disability, have equal opportunities in the workplace.

When Nutra Organics started, we relied heavily upon our fellow small businesses to help us grow. We believe in returning the favour by supporting them and ensuring that all of our products are manufactured as locally as possible. Of course, this isn’t always the case when it comes to packaging our goods, but we proudly stay within Australian shores.

The majority of our products are classifiable as vegan, however there are a few exceptions. Our nourishing chicken and beef broth range, certainly is not vegan. Likewise, our Collagen Beauty (unflavoured and flavours), Collagen Beauty Bars, Collagen Body, Collagen Build and Gelatin powders all contain Collagen. Our Mermaid, Matcha and Golden Lattes also contain Manuka Honey. Our Choc Whiz contains omega 3 DHA which is derived from fish, so it is also not able to be classified as a vegan product. We make a conscious effort to utilise only organic and ethically produced animal products to ensure we are doing our bit for the environment and our animal friends.

We would like to put your mind at ease about the silica we use in our products - yes the packet does carry a warning as some silica contains toxic additives.

Every single aspect of our products is 100% food-safe, we will not add anything to our products that we would not have in our own homes.

You can read more about silica gel beads here.

Yes, our products are safe for children to take, however we do recommend that children take smaller amounts than the suggested amounts for adults - Please follow the guidelines set on the package. If your child is above 12 months old we suggest that you half the dose - or take half a teaspoon - whichever is smaller. Also we always advise that for a child above 12 months you seek advise from your health care practitioner as every child has different sensitivities, food tastes and nutritional requirements.

The refractance method is where the produce is pulped then laid onto large pads. Gently moving underneath the pulped produce is water at around 80 degrees, which gently evaporates the water out of the produce - leaving a dried product. The nutrient levels retained are around 65% - 80% which means temperature sensitive vitamins, minerals and antioxidants are concentrated and retained in the finished powder.

This huge retention and concentration of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants such as anthocyanins and polyphenols is what gives the finished product its naturally intensified flavour and vibrant colours.

Another benefit of having fruit or vegetable dehydrated by the refractance method is that the chance of spoiling are very slim as the moisture needed for bacteria proliferation is completely evaporated, therefore fruits and vegetables in this form will maintain their freshness and are shelf stable to last up to months in the pantry!

Good news coeliac and gluten intolerant friends, most of our products are gluten free (with the exception of 1 product: Clean Greens, as there is the risk of gluten cross contamination coming from Barley and wheat grasses).
