Smokey Roast Carrot Dip

This dip is so hearty and delicious. With the sweetness of the carrot, this flavour bomb is killer paired with cheeses, vegetable dippers or crackers alike. Bring your snacks to life with this delicious addition. 


9 carrots - cut into chunks

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp cracked pepper

1/2 clove garlic

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp smoked paprika

1/4 cup tahini

1 tsp liquid smoke (optional)


1 tsp The Wholefood Pantry Himalayan Salt

1 tbsp Beef Bone Broth Hearty Original

1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

2. Combine carrot chunks, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic, and olive oil in a roasting tray and cook until nicely roasted through (about 30 mins or so).

3. While hot, place carrot into a heat proof blender, food processor or Thermomix. Squeeze the roasted garlic in, add in tahini, smoked paprika, beef bone broth, and liquid smoke. Blitz until smooth, if needed add a little water a teaspoon at a time to soften).

4. Season to taste. Refrigerate until needed - will keep for about 2-3 days.
