San choy bow? More like san choy WOW. All the flavours you love are served bowl style, making it easy to build, share and go back for seconds. Pork mince, crunchy water chestnuts, fresh lettuce and soft vermicelli noodles keep it interesting, while Chicken Bone Broth adds extra flavour and keeps the meal nourishing and satisfying.

  • 1.1 lb ground pork
  • 2 spring onion, sliced, whites & greens separated
  • 3 cloves garlic, diced 
  • Thumb of ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp light soy
  • 2 tsp dark soy
  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
  • 2 tbsp Chicken Bone Broth Concentrate Natural Chicken
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1 tin water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, sliced
  • 7 oz vermicelli noodles
  1. In a pan, on medium high heat, add olive oil to the pan, cook the ground pork until browned.
  2. Meanwhile soak vermicelli noodles in cold water for 15 minutes, then drain.
  3. Add spring onion whites, garlic and ginger. Cook until softened.
  4. Add the light soy, dark soy, oyster sauce, sesame oil, Chinese cooking wine/ mirin and Chicken Bone Broth Concentrate Natural Chicken.
  5. Cook until incorporated. 
  6. Add carrot, water chestnuts, spring onion greens (reserve some for garnish) cook for another couple of minutes until the carrot has softened.
  7. Pour a full kettle of boiling water over the drained noodles to soften and prepare for serving 
  8. Add romaine lettuce and warm vermicelli noodles to bowls. Add the pork mixture, then top with spring onions.
