Apple and Pecan Beauty Crumble
This Apple and Pecan Beauty Crumble will become the new apple of your pie. Rich and earthy with pecan, oats and spices and perfectly paired with the sweetness of apple and maple syrup.   • 6 tsp Collagen Beauty Unflavoured
  • 6 Granny Smith Apples
  • 1tsp Cinnamon
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 2/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 6 ounces melted butter
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2  cup pecans
  •  1 tsp Himalayan pink salt
  • Ice cream or custard to serve
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice apples (you can peel them too if you prefer).
  3. Add sliced apples to a pot with cinnamon, lemon juice and water.
  4. Cook on low for approximately 12 minutes until the apples have softened slightly.
  5. Add all the ingredients for the crumble to a bowl and mix to combine.
  6. Place the apples in a baking dish (about 8 inches) in whatever shape you have and add the crumble topping.
  7. Bake for 20-30 mins or until golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
