If possible, soak cashews overnight. Otherwise, soak for 20 minutes in hot water to do the trick.
In a high-speed blender, add all ingredients and blend for a few minutes until smooth. Adjust salt if needed, and add more water if a runnier consistency is desired.

Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and de-seed.
