The base of peanut butter and banana means you’re getting a source of Potassium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Zinc as well as vitamins B6 and Niacin.  We have included our Thriving protein too, which provides heaps of micronutrients including vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, Folate, C, D, E, Calcium, Iron and Magnesium. It’s a complete protein source, containing all the essential amino acids by combining both golden pea and brown rice proteins.

2 bananas

2 cups coconut milk

350 g & 1 tbsp peanut butter

3/4 cup toasted peanuts, chopped

250 g Dairy Free Dark Chocolate Buttons

2 tbsp Thriving Protein Smooth Vanilla

1. Place bananas, coconut milk, Thriving Protein, 1 tbsp peanut butter into a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Pour mixture into a mould of 10 paddle pops and top each pop mould with 1/4 cup chopped peanuts, then place paddle pop sticks into mould.

3. Freeze for 3 hours or until completely frozen.

4. When pops are frozen, lay out a sheet of baking paper on a tray and place in the freezer for the finished pops.

5. Then over a double boiler, melt the peanut butter and pour into a glass. Then repeat with the dark chocolate buttons.

6. Remove one smoothie pop from the mould and plunge into the melted peanut butter, allow excess to drip back into glass.

7. Repeat with the melted chocolate.

8. Quickly sprinkle the peanuts onto the chocolate coating before it melts and place the baking tray.

Note: Towards the end of the glass of peanut butter and chocolate you made need to scoop it out with a spoon and drizzle over the pops.
