Maintaining close relationships with our suppliers is just part of what we do to ensure our ingredients are the best quality available. We aim to source as many Australian and organic ingredients as possible, so we have full transparency in our supply chain, as well as support local businesses. In every instance we possibly can, we choose Australian ingredients, however, sometimes this is not always possible due to availability and seasonality. On occasion we need to go international to meet the quantity and quality of ingredients needed. When it comes to sourcing our natural ingredients, we choose provenance, nutritional value and quality over cost. This means no synthetics or chemical ingredients are added, only natural, real, wholefood.

Our broth range, as well as the bovine used for our Gelatin & Gutsy Gummies range, are all sourced from Australian grass-fed farms where there’s no use of Bovaer or Rumin8. The bovine sourced for our collagen range comes from international grass-fed farms. On very rare occasions (severe weather conditions and natural disasters), the cattle are provided with supplemental feed to ensure their survival. For this reason, we cannot definitively rule out the use of Bovaer or Rumin8, however it is highly unlikely given the cows are predominantly grass-fed. 

We have looked into other options and at this time there’s no other supplier that can ensure the same efficacy for our collagen range, whilst also ensuring grass-fed and the highest animal welfare standards, as well as meeting the volume requirements we need.

When we refer to “natural flavours,” we mean flavour compounds that are derived from natural sources such as fruits, vegetables, herbs or spices. These compounds are obtained through a range of standard food-processing methods, including pressing, fermentation, distillation or drying, which help capture the characteristic aroma and taste of the original ingredient.

While we can’t disclose the specific composition of our flavour systems due to supplier confidentiality, all flavours used in our products are sourced from reputable suppliers and are reviewed to ensure they meet applicable safety and quality standards.

Yes, our collagen is predominantly sourced from grass fed cows. We buy our collagen from a reliable and reputable supplier based in Germany, named Gelita. This company is one of the market leaders in the collagen industry and has one of the highest industry standards and scientific studies to warrant safety and efficacy. Due to the weather conditions in Germany, the grass fed cattle are fed supplemental feed occasionally due to severe weather conditions, to ensure their survival. 

Our gelatin powder, the gelatin in our Gutsy Gummies, and the bones used in our beef and chicken broths are all sourced from Australian farms that are also predominantly grass fed.

As with all of our ingredients, we are only using the most sustainable collagen available.For years we have proudly sourced our bovine collagen through Gelita, a global German publicly listed business founded in 1875, who have established themselves as a global leader in the production of scientifically researched collagen and who have been able to provide us with the strong sustainability assurances for bovine collagen. Gelita’s status as a publicly listed company also ensures a high standard of governance and controls.

Our bovine collagen is sourced from Brazil and Germany, upcycling the parts of the agriculture industry that would otherwise go to waste.
