Glory Greens Immunity Shot

Are you taking charge of your nutrition and calling the shots? This Glory Greens Immunity Shot is gloriously quick to make and perfect for the whole family, even the fussy ones. For this morning elixir we’ve pimped Super Greens + Reds by adding citrus, coconut water and ginger to boost its immune, antioxidant and inflammatory effects. By starting the day with this punchy shot you will have already hit the daily recommended intake of Vitamin C before lunch, which is a win for your immune system!

  • 12 tsp Super Greens + Reds
  • 1 orange or ½ cup organic orange juice
  • 1  lemon
  •  ½ cup coconut water (can be substituted for filtered water)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1-2 tbsp ginger root

1. Remove the peel from the  orange, lemon and ginger.

2. Finely slice or grate the ginger and cut the orange and lemon into quarters.

3. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

4. Strain the juice through a sieve or nut milk bag into a sterilised glass jar.

5. Serve a quarter of the juice over ice for a morning immunity booster.

Note: Can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or frozen in ice cube trays for up to 3 months.
