What is Super Gut & How Can It Support You?
February 02, 2026
I see digestive discomfort come up often. Feeling a bit off after meals, changes in routine, or just not feeling quite right. While experiences vary, one thing that’s often overlooked is how much support the gut microbiome really needs.
That’s what led us to create Super Gut.
Our goal wasn’t to make another probiotic. It was to create a daily gut formula that works at a foundational level, using natural and organic ingredients that support your body the way it’s designed to work.
Where gut health really happens
Digestion begins in the mouth and stomach, and most nutrients are absorbed in the small intestine. But when it comes to the gut microbiome, much of the activity happens further along, in the large intestine.
This is where dietary fibre plays an important role. Fibre travels through the digestive system and becomes a fuel source for beneficial gut bacteria. As these bacteria ferment fibre, they produce compounds such as short chain fatty acids.
These compounds are involved in maintaining the gut lining and supporting overall digestive balance.
When fibre intake is low or lacking variety, the gut microbiome may not be as well supported as it could be.
Most Australians don’t get enough fibre, and even fewer get a wide variety of fibre types. This diversity is important, as different fibres help support different types of beneficial bacteria.
That’s why Super Gut focuses on both fibre quantity and fibre variety.
Super Gut is designed around four key areas that work together to support digestive wellbeing.
1. Add the good guys
Probiotics help introduce beneficial microbes into the gut and support a healthy balance of bacteria.
Super Gut includes three carefully selected strains:
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is commonly used in formulations designed to support digestive balance
- Saccharomyces boulardii is a resilient probiotic yeast often included during times of dietary or lifestyle change
- Bacillus coagulans is a spore-forming strain that can survive the digestive process and reach the intestines
These strains are selected for their stability and compatibility within a daily gut routine.
2. Feed the good guys
Probiotics only work well when they’re properly fed. That’s where prebiotics come in.
Prebiotics are types of fibre that pass through the upper digestive tract and reach the large intestine, where they act as a food source for beneficial bacteria.
Super Gut includes a diverse blend of prebiotic fibres:
- Acacia fibre and partially hydrolysed guar gum
- Green banana resistant starch
- Inulin from Jerusalem artichoke
- Fructooligosaccharides from chicory root
Each fibre type behaves slightly differently, helping support a more diverse and balanced gut environment.
3. Support regularity
Regular bowel movements rely on the right balance of fibre.
- Soluble fibre helps absorb water and form softer stools
- Insoluble fibre adds bulk and supports movement through the digestive tract
Super Gut includes both, creating a balanced fibre profile to support regularity as part of a healthy diet.
Psyllium husk plays an important role here, working alongside the broader fibre blend.
4. Supporting Gut Lining Health
As fibre is fermented, it produces compounds that contribute to maintaining the gut lining.
Super Gut also includes botanicals such as aloe vera, ginger and turmeric, traditionally used to support digestive comfort and overall gut wellbeing.
Why Super Gut feels different
Super Gut isn’t just a probiotic. It’s a comprehensive blend designed to support digestive wellbeing from multiple angles.
By combining diverse fibres, selected probiotics and plant-based ingredients, it supports digestive balance, regularity and overall gut health as part of a balanced diet.
How to use it
Simply add one serve of Super Gut to 250 mL of cold water and mix well.
If you’re new to fibre, start with half a serve and gradually increase. This allows your body time to adjust.
Taking it alongside other supplements
Fibre can influence how quickly some nutrients are absorbed.
For most people, Super Gut can be taken alongside other supplements. However, if timing is important (for example with certain medications), it may be helpful to take them at different times of the day.
Gut health isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about consistent daily support. By focusing on fibre diversity, beneficial bacteria and simple daily habits, you can support your digestive system in a way that’s sustainable and easy to maintain.
Super Gut was designed with exactly that in mind and is some of my proudest work as a nutritionist.
