Benefits

Gelatin is a versatile and concentrated source of protein that fits easily into everyday recipes and cooking. With its neutral flavour and unique setting properties, it can be mixed into both sweet and savoury recipes, including gummies, jellies, desserts, soups, sauces and warm drinks. It is a simple pantry staple for adding texture and protein to homemade creations.

If you prefer drinking gelatin then for a single serve: Add approx. 1 tbsp. (10 g) to your hot liquid of choice (tea, coffee). If you prefer, 'Bloom'' the gelatin prior to adding to your liquid.

To make a set gelatin: Bloom gelatin by adding approximately ¼ cup of gelatin (40 g) to ½ cup of water (1:2 ratio) and stir until an even texture is achieved. Add bloomed gelatin to 250 mL of any hot liquid with your flavouring and stir until dissolved. Pour into a mould and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.

NOTE: Reduce the amount of gelatin for a softer set or increase for a firmer set.

Our entire range has been 3rd party tested for a premium quality assurance you can trust. We’ve checked for heavy metals and glyphosate - and passed with flying colours!

The independent lab tested down to 0.01 parts per million (the minimum amount detectable), and there was no glyphosate detected in any of our products. Plus, heavy metals are well below the safety limits set by FSANZ. Because there are traces of heavy metals present in almost all natural foods, what’s important to note is that there is no heavy metal contamination above what is naturally present and safe to consume in our products.

Ensuring our products are as clean as they are effective is important to us.

Common Questions

Gelatin is made from collagen! Gelatin is a naturally occurring protein source, derived from the collagen components of connective tissue in animals.

Gelatin is not vegan or vegetarian friendly as it is derived from animal sources.

Sulphur dioxide is present at a low level in gelatin as a result of the manufacturing process. It is declared on the label so people who are sensitive to sulphites can make an informed choice. People with a known sulphite sensitivity should review the allergen information and speak with a healthcare professional if they are unsure whether the product is suitable for them.

Our Gelatin is sourced from Australian farms.

Our name is changing, but our roots are not. We're the same Australian-owned, family-operated business, and there are no changes to our products, ingredients, formulations or quality.

We're taking Nutra to the world, and the name Nutra Organics couldn't be trademarked in the international markets we're expanding into. Nutra Naturals gives us one name we can use everywhere.

We started on a kitchen bench in the Northern Rivers in 1998, and that's still home. Your favourite products keep the same prices, and everything that was certified organic is still certified organic.
