These Banana Choc Chip Protein Muffins are a balanced and delicious little parcel ready to satisfy those sweet tooth cravings, or those peckish afternoons that call for a protein snack to hit the spot. Featuring Thriving Family Unflavoured with 17 vitamins and minerals, protein and pre and probiotics for immunity, gut wellbeing and growth and development. Warning, these are so delicious and family friendly, but we can’t guarantee there won’t be any squabbling over the last one.

  • 8 oz plain flour
  • 4.2 oz Thriving Family Unflavoured (coming soon)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3.5 oz coconut sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 9 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the plain flour, Thriving Family, baking powder, coconut sugar, and salt.
  • Add the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips.
  • Divide the mixture into silicone muffin trays, leaving about ¾ inch of space at the top of each.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through and the tops are golden brown.
  • Allow the muffins to rest for 10 minutes before turning them out onto a cooling rack.
  • Store in an airtight container.
